Triple-i is pleased to announce Daniel P. Matthews as the new Sr. Vice President of Strategic Programs. Mr. Matthews is the former VP of Government Relations with Lockheed Martin and former Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the United States Department of Transportation (DOT). In his role at Triple-i, Mr. Matthews will provide strategic leadership and develop new partnerships across our core service areas—Enterprise Services, Information Assurance (IA) and Security Management, Program and Project Management, and Strategic Planning.

Mr. Matthews comes to Triple-i as the former VP of Government Relations with Lockheed Martin. Prior to his role at Lockheed, he served as the CIO at DOT. As CIO, Matthews served as the principal advisor to the Secretary of Transportation on matters involving information resources and information services management, and provided leadership in using IT to achieve the department's goals and objectives.

Matthews also worked with Savantage Financial Services, where he had served as Sr. VP and was responsible for efforts to modernize the financial management systems of a number of Federal agencies. He spent most of the previous 22 years at Lockheed Martin and its predecessor Martin Marietta, most recently as VP where he led 1,200 employees in all aspects of the company's IT efforts as well as its business development activities. He previously served as the company's Director of Advanced Marketing, director of its Dayton, OH, operations, and as a project manager. Mr. Matthews is also a U.S. Air Force veteran and he holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration.

Triple-i is pleased to announce an award to provide Program Budget Support Services for the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) over the next 5 years. Triple-i will provide on-site financial program management support services for the DCMA Executive Director of Information Technology (IT). As well as financial and program management activities encompassing the financial life-cycle in IT capital management and planning in, budget programming and funding execution.

Triple-i is pleased to be on Team EmeSec supporting PACTS Functional Category (FC4). Services in FC4 are defined as follows: Services in the support of physical laws and principles of engineering in the design, development and utilization of machines, materials, instruments, structures, processes, and systems. The assignments undertaken may involve any of the following activities: provision of advice, preparation of feasibility studies, preparation of preliminary and final plans and designs, provision of technical services during the construction or installation phase, inspection and evaluation of engineering projects and related services.

Triple-i is one of four companies that have won spots on a seven-year, $800 million Health and Human Services Department contract for information technology services.  Triple-i is the sole awardee in Functional Area 3 – Application Hosting.  Triple-i will be responsible for the full provisioning, engineering, operations and administration of current and emerging application hosting services.

Triple-i is pleased to announce an award to provide IT Support Services to the U.S. Department of Treasury, in the Office of the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (SIGTARP) for the next 5 years.

Triple-i will build the infrastructure required to support SIGTARP and provide planning and support for all IT services. We will also create a Program Support Office (PSO) to successfully plan and manage IT initiatives such as voice and data services, network migration planning, application design and engineer and other tasks for SIGTARP to ensure the overall information technology strategy is achieved.

Triple-i is pleased to announce being a partner with Solutions By Design II, LLC (SBD) for the Information Technology Operations Division (ITOD) Task Order Contract (ITOC) for all 16 Functional Categories within the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). ITOC is a $175,000,000 IDIQ Task Order (TO) contract permitting FBI to procure a full range of operational information technology support services.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) awarded SBD the Information Technology Operations Division (ITOD) Task Order Contract (ITOC) as one of their preferred vendors. The contract has a performance period that runs through September of 2013.

The functional areas in which the team is eligible to support the FBI include: Management, Consultant, Policy and Planning, Security, Systems Analysis, Application Software, Operating Systems, Network Services, Communications, Data Management, Internet, Systems Administrator, Customer Support, Support Specialist, Training, and Technical Support.

Triple-i received an award from the Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division (JMD) to provide Program Management Support.  JMD is relocating and consolidating approximately 2,200 of its employees to a new facility located at Two Constitution Square, Washington, D.C.  Triple-i will provide Program Management and Support, Infrastructure Design and Support, and Move Planning and Support for the next 3 years.

Triple-ireceived an award from the Department of Interior, Office of Surface Mining and Reclamation (OSM), to provide IT Security Services for the next 5 years. Triple-i will provide expert technical and security support services to accomplish certification and accreditation (C&A) of major applications, annual security control reviews (SCRs) and internal control reviews (ICRs), and IT continuity of operations (COOP) planning and testing.

Triple-i CEO, Deborah Ikirt, becomes an executive committee board member for the National Kidney Foundation serving the National Capital Area (NKF/NCA).  In addition to supporting fundraising and awareness efforts for the organization, Mrs. Ikirt will also be the Vice-Chairman of the 29th Annual Kidney Ball, hosted at the Washington Hilton in D.C. this November.

The Washington, DC area leads the nation in the prevalence of kidney disease with more than 700,000 people affected, of which, 1,600 individuals are waiting for kidney transplants.  There is a critical shortage of organ donors in this country and every day 17 people die while waiting for a transplant of a vital organ, such as a heart, lung, or kidney.  The mission of the National Kidney Foundation  is to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation. The Foundation funds medical research, and provides patient and community services, professional and public education, and organ donation programs.
